In December 1995 George Searson and David Shannon formed a partnership.
George Searson was admitted as a Solicitor in he Supreme Court of New South Wales in August 1977 and then opening a sole practitioner office at Laurieton in 1979. In 1992 George’s office became fully computerised and this has been instrumental in reducing the labour component in all types of legal matters and, of course, improving the service delivered to his clientele.
David Shannon, a fully qualified Solicitor had started to practise in 1981 soon became a Partner at Priests, McCarron Sork, Solicitors, Port Macquarie.
Searson Shannon & Co. opened an additional office in Port Macquarie to complement the existing office at Laurieton in order to make available the services of the firm to a wider range of clients over the Mid North coast area.
Subsequent developments have now given us the reputation as the leading conveyance firm in the Port Macquarie, Laurieton areas. Another area of practice which is, our mortgage portfolio, has also increased by 500%.
With George Searson and David Shannon’s combined talents and experience Searson Shannon & Co. Pty Limited again showed growth. To accommodate the modern demand for better legal customer services and support the partnership became incorporated as of 1 July 2001.

This office is situated in the heart of the Port Macquarie CBD, offers a wide range of legal services including Conveyancing, Property and Estate matters, Wills and Probate, Commercial, Business Agreements and Leasing, it also is a service centre for Professional Finance Mortgage Brokers

Laurieton and Kew areas
This office is located in the main street of Laurieton and is now utilised as a service centre for Searson Shannon & Co. Pty Limited clients. We still offer the same professional legal services as before, and the office is staffed with the same experienced legal secretaries. Appointments with George Searson are now required to be booked in advance to ensure we can best meet your legal needs. These appointments can be book either online or by phone.
